The following represents an agreement between HANBAO (the “Restaurant”) and you and outlines the specific conditions relating to your booking (the “Agreement”).

In consideration for the Restaurant making a booking on your behalf, you are required to provide valid credit or debit card details to secure your reservation. 

No payment will be taken at the time of booking.

If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before your reservation time, or fail to attend your reservation (a “no-show”), the Restaurant reserves the right to charge £5 per guest to the credit or debit card provided at the time of booking.

If the Restaurant is unable to perform its obligations under this Agreement for any reason beyond the Restaurant’s reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood or other emergency conditions, or the carrying out of necessary and essential repairs to the Restaurant (or any delay to the completion of such repairs), the Restaurant shall have no liability to you of any kind in respect of such non-performance.

Cancellations (including partial cancellations) and changes to the number of guests must be confirmed and received by the Restaurant at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time.

In the event that the reservation is not honoured in whole or in part by you, or is cancelled with less than the required 24-hour notice period, the Restaurant may charge £5 per guest to the credit or debit card provided to secure the reservation.

As a business, our continued viability relies on bookings being honoured by our customers and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations.

Accordingly, the following applies:

1. Card details: A valid credit or debit card is required to secure all bookings. No charge will be taken at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations and changes: You must notify us of any cancellation or changes to the number of guests at least 24 hours prior to your booking time.

3. Late cancellations: We reserve the right to charge £5 per guest where a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the reservation time.

4. No-shows: We reserve the right to charge £5 per guest where a booking is not honoured and the guest(s) fail to attend.

5. Partial cancellations: Where the number of guests is reduced less than 24 hours before the booking, we reserve the right to charge £5 for each guest removed from the booking.

6. The cancellation/no-show fee reflects costs incurred by HANBAO in relation to staffing, food preparation and lost revenue as a result of holding tables that may otherwise have been made available to other customers.
